Z3 issues (charging and wifi)
« On:October 29, 2015, 05:27:22 AM »
My just unboxed Z3 is having 42% charge, but on connecting the given charger, i get the message "Phone temperature too low, unable to charge battery".

Also, it's recognising wifi networks but it shows "obtaining IP address" but does not connect even after a long time. All other devices are able to detect and connect to the router.

Hari can you please take logs for battery charging issue?  Procedure is given here

For Wifi  can you please share make and model of your router ?

Is your router using WEP encryption ? There is a known issue with WEP however WPA which is more secure works fine.

Ok, here's what I did,
Wifi:
Enabled Static IP, then it connected
Battery Not charging:
The power off button too was not showing up despite pressing down on power button, so removed the battery and reinserted it. Now the device powered on and even charging is normal :). The power button is also functioning as it should.

Good that you found a workaround, However please send logs ASAP.
As this is one off issue it is hard to reproduce.
