May be its running on 3g network.

If I remember correctly, those Z2s on display at launch event had LTE icon.

Check this settings:

Settings -> Mobile network -> Sim1 network Mode -> LTE/3G/2G to be selected. While phone is at 3G by default.

Again waiting for @Shebin to confirm. As @Sumit mentioned Z2s on display at launch event had LTE icon. Or any other using Idea 4G could confirm.

What does HSDPA mean? 3G or 4G?

@patash..i think you didn't checked the download speed in video... H is slower than H+ and H has speed around 3-4 Mbps

4MB app just downloaded in 2 secs so i get speed of around 2MBps or 16Mbps which is not possible in 3G or H or even H+

@Arshdeep - just a technical answer. since you have already mentioned that the d/l is fast i dint had to check the video earlier. Which i did now.
It will be interesting for samsung if the icon 'H" is always shown or may be at a certain place. Network switching.... one reason could be that the service that you want is available buy is still not available to you as it is being occupied by other users.

The good signal strength displayed does not guarantee good call quality or no call drops.... drop in audio... lag in audio.... or echo. Why ?  theory never matches actual results.
To put this in analogy - Which i always do  ;)

1. 2G, 3G, 4G, FiveG or even PA-G(adding punjabi to impress my bro) their speeds one will never see it to attain what they claim. I mean if by 3G or even by Wired LAN/WAN. It is like saying a car giving 100 km/Liter mileage under standard lab test conditions. It never happens on actual road. In this case the Information Super Highway.  ::) Super.... ?

Tech answer - To send and recv any info there is a protocol. Even that protocol will occupy the bandwidth, then there are other protocols(like control protocol) which come along the main protocol. They all will also occupy some bandwidth. So out of total theoretical bandwidth remove or subtract the protocols overhead then one gets actual bandwidth.

In other words you get 1 Crore salary ofcourse after cutting many many many legitimate taxes.... what you get is 'peanuts'(much less than theoretical figure). Do i need to laugh  ;D here or Cry  :'(  ... i leave it to the readers.

I am in a different mood today.  :)

Cheers,
Aashish

@Arshdeep, its likely that the device isnt in Idea LTE(and is still on 3G only).
Check with Voda 4G and its fine.
