To submit logs once you have run log dump, user needs a pc to extract the slp_debug folder and mail it. This feels stupid since you have a smartphone. Why can't the user access the debug folder from his phone itself. This will increase the friendliness in reporting the issues and ease the current cumbersome procedure.

In theory this is not designed for enduser...  :)

2.
Folder is set hidden... via . trick if I remember
.scan_ignore

No idea yet, if other File Managers available in Tizen Store ignore this trick...

Also no idea, if Move Log dumps to SDCARD make this more visible...

Best Regards

You're right. It would be very useful and user-friendly  if log dump path is made accessible through phone and no need to connect with pc/laptop.
But I guess user won't need to submit log dump in future. Firmwares will be released only after tested by "Beta Tester Team" . I'm not sure in this regard, only idea.

Max file size to upload is limited to 10MB (total size is 40MB). whenever I took logs, most of the times file size came around 12 ~ 17 MB, Due to this I could not upload logs.

While attaching file size more than 10MB, warning should be shown instead of ignoring the post. { upload shows 100% but post not posted if file size is >10MB and screen comes to new bug report screen }

40MB ?

That's too much. Do you have CP Silent Log enabled? If so, please turn it off.

AFAIK TellUs application is going to include this option soon. However, I am not aware of the schedule.

Yes , the deliberation is only on point about size of the log.

As of now tell-us only collects crash logs that is when any app is crashed it creates report and if if
user permits the log is uploaded. We can extend the same concept to other cases as well
 however logs are usually big so it was not included earlier.

You will see some change in next update of tellus app
