When device is connected to laptop and laptop goes into sleep state, the "Connected as Media device" message keeps blinking continuously.

Check attached video.

:) Thank you for your concern in reporting the issue.

We have analysed the issue and found that, the issue occurs when Z3 is connected to USB 3.0 port[USB Port :- BLUE colour] and laptop is in sleep state.

"Connected as Media device" goes on and off, this is because the platform receives multiple usb connection/disconnection events form the kernel.

As of now we could see that the MUIC[detects type of cable attached] is receiving multiple interrupts as  usb cable connected/disconnected , TA connected /disconnected because of which the platform is receiving multiple
usb connection & disconnection events.

We are currently working on this..,and will update the fix for this issue.

Thank you :) :)

Hi Poornima,

We are able see this issue only in certain make of laptops and that too in usb3.0 port(Blue colored port).

Might be a fact that, some fluctuating voltages might be coming as a leakage or sleep state not handled properly in host side laptop.

USB connection/disconnection occurs repeatedly according to vbus on/off in PC side. This is an issue of PC side not the target. vbus cannot be controlled in target side

Better try using usb2.0 port for charging during laptop sleep/suspended state.
