Title: When you faced "SIGNATURE_INVALID [22] failed" error...
Post by: Ashish Shrivastava on July 15, 2015, 02:07:17 AM
I found many application developer faced "Signature Failure" error message while installing their Application on phone.

The possible reason could be,

1)  The current date of target are not updated.

2) Not matched DUID in the XML. File would be device-profile.xml that includes DUID.

3) Used Not allowed privilege level like platform or partner which are not supposed to use

4) Not performed to "Permit to install applications" by context menu of the Connection Explorer.
    -  Removed the .metadata folder from tizen workspace
    - The certificate is automatically copied to gear's /home/developer.

5) Not followed SDK helps properly for the certificate registration.
    -  The certificate should have correct device id, generated by the IDE.

6) Removed the .metadata folder from tizen workspace

Step for the application should be,

1.     Create sample App from Tizen SDK.

2.     Generating a certificate signing request
        -    Requesting certificates
        -    Registering certificates
        -    Adding certificates to the security profile in the Tizen IDE for phone.

3.     Clean and then rebuild the widget

4.     Sdb install it
