sorry about my last post, i thought every time i shake or move my phone, the clock will appear, looks like it is based on sensor on the top of the phone, not a  real motion sensor

so its my mistake and just forget it  ;D

thx.

What about a double tap to bring lockscreen?
I feel double tapping should be kept exclusively for the camera app (like natively done in Z3). Triple tap perhaps.

@AnupKushwaha:

Words can't explain how excited I am to use this app. Trust me, my friends sitting next to me are wondering what bit me.
Everything about what you've created works seamlessly on my Z3. I still can't get the hang of hovering my hand over my phone just to show off the clock :P

Now, getting to a few things / questions / suggestions I have on my mind about this app:

1. Does keeping it always on affect the pixels of screen? I mean, like S7 does the app automatically re-align / adjust neighbouring pixels to avoid 'ghosting'? If so, do let us know. This might be the ONLY reason why I may never use the 'Always Show Information' option if things don't move around and in the longer run leave your pixels dead or with ghosting effect permanently. I hope you understand what I mean. I'm not too technically equipped to put this to technical words.

2. Love the color options available, also the option to display date is spot-on. However, as already pointed out by a few users here it'll be of great help if you could add clock options as well (especially digital clocks). I'm more of a digital clock guy than analog. That'll not only be able to show correct time, it'll also do away with jagged circular analog clocks on an otherwise great app.

3. Keep up the great work man. You're doing an amazing job.

Cheers!

Maybe by next week,
It will work with accelerometer, information will be shown for a brief period time whenever user shakes or moves the phone.
It will not have 'always on' feature as that will consume a lot of battery.

I am glad you liked it,

Regarding you screen concern, in a rare case there is a risk of screen 'burn' in AMOLED screens if you keep it on for very long period of time. So there should not be any issue here.
But for being on a safer side, i will change the location of clock after a period of time. I will add this feature soon.

I will add digital clock also. I have also fixed the jagged edge issue, It was anti aliasing issue.

Thank You

I will add double tap in clock screen area.

Rajaraman, Check #3 & #5 post on this thread:

There are 2 issues with Z1.

1) It has LCD screen, so a complete black screen will consume same power as completely white screen. In case of LED screen complete black screen consumes no power. So if we always show our information screen in LCD screen, it will consumer a lot of power.

2) It has no proximity sensor. But in Z1 I can use accelerometer and show this app, whenever user shakes the phone. I will check this possibility.

One last thing...

Can an option to choose brightness of the clock be accommodated in the update? I mean, right now its synced with the screen brightness settings, but in case somebody wants to keep the 'always on clock' at a higher or lower brightness. This will add a great customization option for users.
